Weave Your Own Willow Chicken! Workshop
24 May 10:00 am 2025
Spend a fun and creative day weaving a lifelike willow chicken sculpture to enhance your garden or create a truly special gift.
Using a random weave technique, this relaxed and sociable class allows you to chat as you work, once you have mastered the basics. Along the way, you will explore traditional basket-making techniques to craft details such as legs, comb, and tail feathers.
There is plenty of room for creativity and you don’t have to stick to chickens! Any bird of a similar size is possible, whether inspired by nature or born from your imagination.
Bring your ideas, and willow artist Judith Needham will help you bring them to life!
